This vest, a URBS staple, uses NEXTEC's EPIC fabric, also used in the US military's ECWCS. Furthermore, it uses Climasheild insulation, also used by the US military, resulting in a genuine MIL SPEC item. Each item comes with its own dedicated name tag and hang tag. The EPIC outer fabric utilizes silicon encapsulation technology, which applies a silicon barrier inside the fibers, significantly reducing the fabric's absorbency and providing durable water repellency that doesn't wash out. The Climasheild insulation is a material that achieves the highest level of combination of lightness and warmth. It uses insulation made of extremely lightweight and heat-retaining filament yarn. Despite its simple design, the use of "authentic" materials and insulation creates a unique atmosphere, making it a one-of-a-kind item.
